Two questions:
1. Can we use two characters?
2. The sample dueling post that is now required... is it acceptable for me to post a link to a duel I'm currently in, and the sign-up judges can use that as a guide to gauge how well I duel?

1. Not until you have 35 stars.
2. It's not required until I post a new topic, so don't worry about it. I've already seen your stuff anyway.

Hehe, looks like ol' c0mbat was also thinking about just posting a duel link.
Were you going to use ours?
I was.

*Thinks about stabbing Kalisto, but remembers that he's the Sensai of
the IG. Damn that thing where you have to make a good impression on
those higher ranked than you.*
I can't even write stuff for sign-up sheets for an hour or so before I start getting bored. Well, I used to be able to make lengthy sign-ups and all that without getting too bored, but now that's just fizzled out. Meh. Oh well, I'll finish it by Sunday, hopefully.

You'll be dealing it out, so I guess I should get prepared. Bah.

Well, I started my sign up, and, IFV, I now have an important question.
You see, Tash has no moveset, no real signature moves other than this
one (which is nameless) where he uses his tanto to make a molten
serpent, but aside from that, Tash uses his arcane seal to concoct his
elemental energy in the best way suited for the situation. That is the
main aspect of my dueling style and Tash's largest aptitude, his
ability to convert and revert his energy to different forms and uses.
Besides, Tash isn't really the kind to scream "Crimson Wind!" before
attacking, he enjoys the element of surprise a bit more than to ruin
his strategy with revealing cries. So, what is the verdict? Can I keep
Tash the way I have him now, or do I have to supply him a set of
specific moves?

Hey bro, do I have the authority to accept characters? If you have posted a character yourself, and I speak with X and Grahf about it, we'll see. For now, however, the answer is no.
Dark Kaiser Warheit: Personality is cliche, but I'm not going to fret over that. What I will fret over, however, is your weapon. If the hilts are twisted together, how would you get it apart, nonetheless wield a weapon with a very odd handle? A 20 year old would probably not master both styles as well, but perhaps I can let that slide. Though, your lightning is a tad powerful for a swordsman, much as I said for Drago above. If you take your skills and make them solely close combat skills (meaning no ranged moves such as Fury) on that same note, Wrath is almost identical to one of U'yram's skills, but I won't make you get rid of it if you tone it down. You are a swordsman, a mage and a speed freak. Sorry, mages with swords is pushing it for me, So pick one of those categories, and pick a secondary that is greatly weakened than the other. (Swordsman with close range, physical lightning moves). I see nothing wrong with your bio. Once you change what I listed, repost your sign-up with the changes, after deleting your old sign-up to minimize confusion. Nice try, but again, too powerful.
Sooley: Alright. Well, I'm leaving for the weekend tommorow at 7'ish pm my time (GMT -4), and I will be back Monday probably lunch or 2 pm (GMT -4) so post any time before then, but take as much as you need. =P

Here you guys go then ^.^
Name: Earendel The Companion. (All former characters who were in the Riskbreakers or Intrepid Genesis would know him as the monstrous Fuuma)
Age: Unknown, though he does have at least seven hundred years under his belt by now.
Race: Endless. At first glance, Earendel's chosen (unknowingly to him however) form is that of a monster, a beast and due to the restrictions of this form he is also trapped with a certain amount of power and disposition, a good example being the later mentioned mask. However, as an Endless he represents a specific part of existence which is present in almost all free willed life forms of sentience. As an Endless, he has a function to serve, which in his case is to represent and feed into mortals the desire to destroy, rebuild, burn and mate. He is chaos and animalistic nature given form, though he is surprisingly refined just as any other Endless. But unlike his new found brothers and sisters, he is not a 'true' Endless, and is in reality a Companion to a being he only knows as the Stargazer.
Weapon: None, unless you count his clawed hands... *See Description.*
Secondary Weapon: None.
Personality: Earendel is a bit of an enigma. His personality is deep, but without reflection, where his mind constantly argues with itself at just where he stands between monster and human. He has constant memories and knowledge of what it is to be alive and human, however, his instincts and urges are comparable to him with that of a beasts. He lacks basic knowledge, like his own name, who he is and what he was, and even though he has no wish to understand the process which made him what he was from who he can only image he is now, there is a constant pain in his mind when he tries to remember anything at all besides the emotions and words and feelings of what he zealously believes is the perfect human being. And while he lacks some knowledge, he is by far not intelligent.
Description: He is a patch work soldier as one of his foes once called him, though he is by no means a soldier in look. From head to toe he is scarred, save on his face and right hand. His hair is a thin blue green of metallic texture when touched, though at the moment it is drenched in the soft iron color of his own blood, the strands once giving him the look of a porcupine. But only on half of his head. His face is masked on the left side, a golden metal with a jagged edge with a painted doll's face which joins into and partially overlaps with the right side of his face where the mask bends in it's molded curve to let his nose through.Though, that is how many expect to see him from how he originally appeared. For the most part, this description is accurate, except it seems his body has undergone a strange metamorphosis in his time gone from the world. His build is thicker, and far less lithe while his hair has grown into a long cascade of bloody red and silvery teal strands which fall down his back. The mask is cracked in many places, the childish face smudged roughly, though still visible. His human eye is open now, though deadened and blankly starring out into the world. Stretches of pale bluish skin seem to be growing over the mask, and before when only one of his hands were metallic and rock like in nature, both now are formed of long metallic stone, coming up and merging into the flesh of his forearms to form his newer animalistic upper body. Where he once attempted to emulate human appearance with cloths, he is now bandaged like a mummy, the long strips of blood stained linen providing several layers to his sexless body.

Magical Capabilities:
Too many to name really, considering Earendel doesn't have any actual spells but rather a full if not instinctual control over electricity, temperature and wind. At any point within a ten foot radius of himself he can create combustion, forming an amount of fire which can be fit into a twenty foot area which he can shape to his desires. At a touch, he can generate cold at the contact point of anywhere between 175 degrees Celcius, to -120 degrees Celsius though the effects of cold and heat do not effect his flesh (unlike natural fire and cold which does). He can move and control the wind and air around him (which is what gives the bandages the look of being alive) in an area of up to seventy feet. This control can be a gentle, controlled breeze or a sudden burst or gust of wind which can reach upwards to 65 miles and hour. However, bio-electricity is what his true weapon is. His monstrous body produces an electric charge very much like an eels through his magically created flesh, muscles and bone structure. But the difference is that be can build and shape it as he likes, from throwing arcs of lightning to coating his body in green and yellow energy. However, at times when he does not discharge it he is unable to function properly until he does, either by attacking something or someone, or by using his clawed metal hands as a ground to pass it on.
Fighting Style:
Earendel fights like a wild animal, but resorts to the elemental control as any other animal would resort to it's claws or bites.Trying to read his movements would probably be like trying to understand chaos in itself.
Class:
None, though the best bet for any title would be a Geomancer or Berserker.

Background:
Not even the technomancer Garstalf who created Earendel's current form has an inkling of where the soul that inhabits Earendel's body came from. The powerful wizard created the body as a weapon, but found that lingering behind the eyes of the creature was a spirit, and unwavering animalistic frenzy, a desire for civilization, and a deep hatred for the natural predatory instincts it was built on. But that was far from the only thing not right about him. The veins of the Beast pumped an oily endoplasmic mixture which suited him for blood, and the natural battery Garstalf had devised would never run out. But his eyes.... They spoke of a magic unknown to the dark master of wires and flesh, and so from the skin of a golden dragon he crafted the mask. At first, it was lifeless and without a face, but during the dark night when he tried to apply it to his creation, the creature he had named 'The Beast' broke it in two before Gastalf could merge half of it to the man thing's face. The rage inside Earendel went dormant then, his personality becoming slower and reflective, but not lacking that animalistic instinct and withdrawn sense of self-loathing. When the wizard awoke from his slumber the next evening, he walked out into the main chambers of his lab only to find it very nearly destroyed. Words were scribbled on the walls in the runes of Dwarves, the words of man and in the tongues of dragons, while parts of the walls had been torn asunder, limbs of other experiments left writhing on the ground while their wires still fed them artificial life. But the Beast was gone... All that was left were his restraints, burned away from his form left half in ash.
For a time he wandered, crawling along the underbelly of the world he was left in, killing when he needed to survive, battling needlessly with any being of power he happened to come across... Until he met Them. The Riskbreakers. Even his feeble ( at the time ) concept of intelligence and understanding set these people high up above the rest. They were mercenaries, who thrived only to further themselves in rank and power, fighting even each other in tests of raw animal power, skill and knowledge. He came to admire several of them, and fell into their membership through the aid of a man named Roan who while not a member, guided him to them where with a demonstration of power left him not only a member but an enigma to their ranks. And as he stayed with them, he grew more and more human in their presence. When they became the Intrepid Genesis, he stood upright and discovered that while the mask limited his powers, they guided them subconsciously, allowing him to use them in a way other then blindly. Using this understanding he formulated a kind of psionic 'burst' which aloud him to project his thoughts out as if speech to those around him, and once capable of communicating, he quickly proved to some who simply deemed him a stupid killing machine that he was more then their intellectual equal. A side of him which earned him a position as the head of the Quest Guild and a bit of a desk job, which while he did with some zest he grew to loath.

And then they came to their end. Their legend died and their ranks
broke ties and all bonds of fellowship, and Fuuma simply disappeared.
Few know where he went, and even fewer knew he was gone. But all knew
and felt his departure as the few men and women who had ever come into
contact with him suddenly and very simply knew his presence in the
world became muted. Twenty seven years passed, and the few who knew
him, especially the elf once known as Kalisto; suddenly felt his
person's sudden return to the plane. But when any of his former
compatriots met him, they found him very much changed. No longer
anchored to his humanity, he now only uses his telepathic call when he
has no other choice, conveying messages with body language with grunts
and animalistic noises.
Now, he returns to their ranks a stranger. Even those who once knew him who have also returned barely recognize him, and now, while before his contemplative search for inner peace was easily seen, his new, animal tendencies mark him as a stranger to these so called 'civilized' warriors. Perhaps his greater purpose is only now beginning to unfold.
((OOC: I have a plot running for him in my current RPG actually, if anyone feels like looking at my NRPG... >.<;;))

Here goes ... oh yeah, I got WM permission for this.
-Character Description-
Name: Iudicantis
Age: Ageless.
Gender: Genderless, though when it does speak its voice is masculine.
Race: Evence (Avatar of Justice)
Evence- an overview
Evence are humanoid creatures, appearing as a normal human with the exception of their sharp, slanting foreheads and lack of eyebrows. Their eyes glow a luminous viridian color, except in special circumstances (described in detail later). Evence society and culture is very different than humans, and as such Evence frequently make social blunders that humans would think highly rude.
Evence- a history.
Evence were created, so the legend says, by the God Abobwyn, who was a just and righteous God. Abobwyn formed The universe from his tears, however he wept tears of joy rather then tears of sorrow. As the droplets fell, they formed the universe, and as they splashed into pieces, each of these pieces became the mystic stars. As he saw his work, Abobwyn laughed, a laugh from the just and pure soul, and upon the planet of purity, Earth, sprang abundant life and water. When Abobwyn completed his work, he took the guise of an Evence, and had many wondrous adventures among his people. But that is a tale for another day.
Abobwyn is the sole God among Evence, however before he departed the universe, his gift to his people, whom he cherished most of all the universes life, was the Avatars. Avatars were created as incarnations of an emotion. Three of these Avatars were those of Abobwyn’s most cherished feelings, his prize spawn of the universe. These were Compassion, Glory, and Justice.
Subsection analysis: Compassion: Compassion was brought into this world as a savior, that of a reminder that kindness and trust will always outweigh that of sorrow and selfishness. Compassion was endowed from Abobwyn with the gift of shape-changing, and has taken the form of women, men, creatures, and even soothing rain to spread compassion wherever it is needed. As a result, Compassion’s true form is not known- only that it is present, and it is good.
Subsection analysis: Glory: Glory was brought into the world as a crusader, that of a reminder that no war shall be fought without that of glorious reasoning, as well as glorious deeds. Glory was endowed from Abobwyn with the gift of vitality, and it is said that Glory’s touch may revive an old Evence and make him as though he were young once more, to rise and fight and die as a true Evence. Glory appears wreathed in burning, white flames, and is a strong, muscular Evence. He hefts a mighty war axe in only one hand, and is said to charge into battle accompanied by unearthly trumpet music. Attired all in white, Glory’s form is inspiration at its finest.

Abobwyn, in his wisdom, knew that merely creating the righteous avatars
would lead his Evence into complacency, and softness. His final two
avatars were terrible beings, created as a trial for his people. They
were known as Fear and Sorrow.
Subsection Analysis: Fear: Fear was brought into this world as an abomination, that of a reminder that darkness is ever-present. Fear was endowed from Abobwyn with the gift of horror, and as Joseph Conrad reminds us, it is a terrifying power indeed. Fear appears as a horrible, slithering, bloated beast nine feet long and with five, atrocious heads, each twisted and deformed, not all Evence. He appears to cowards often, and is said to be the most horrible sight in all the universe.
Subsection Analysis: Sorrow: Sorrow was brought into this world as schemer, that of a shadow of the doubts that plague minds. Sorrow was endowed with the gift of torment and is capable of twisting the emotions of those around it. Sorrow appears as a sad waif a short Evence male with sallow skin hugging his bones tightly. He wears a robe adorned with his ever-shifting eyes. His name is whispered by all but the most foolish of people lest they gain his attention.
And so the Avatars were released upon the universe. As the years flowed forth like the tides, tales and legends circled of their exploits, until one day it was said that they just…disappeared.
Or did they?
Evence as a culture.
Evence base their lives about the concept of right and wrong. To them, Evence are either black or white, with no room for shades of gray of any sort. Any Evence convicted of a crime is “black” and put into prison, or exiled. Judgment, however, is very well thought out and complicated, ensuring that Justice is done, lest the mighty avatar pay them a visit (so the tale goes). Social graces are not held in particularly high importance- although they do not strive to be rude, they do not make a habit of observing the particular customs of any other race.
Evence are a passionate people. They embrace emotion in its prime, living to the fullest of life.
-Character Appearance:
Physical Description: It took the name Iudicantis upon its creation. Not because it liked the name, it is incapable of like and dislike, but because the name fit. The Avatar of Justice has existed ever since Abobwyn wished it to exist, filled with the righteous wrath of the victims who seek retribution. For the sake of simplicity, we shall call it him, although the Avatars are genderless.
Iudicantis is his armor. Like it was ripped from child’s fairy tale the suit is 6’ 5” of pure white Cap-A-Pie*, “Head-to-Toe”, plate armor. There is no gild or trim. There are no designs etched into its surface. There is nothing beautiful or artistic about his armor it’s merely designed to serve as highly efficient protection. Chest, arms, legs, hands, feet, and fingers, if he had them, would all be encased in the unknown gleaming white metal. His helmet is of no particular importance but since there are so many styles it is prudent to describe it. It is oval-shaped and roughly the size of a human head. A triangular beak-like visor slides down completely covering where a chin would be and leaves a fraction of an inch open for were eyes should be. Though the armor has its gaps they contain nothing but air. Those foolish enough to insert there hands into these openings have come away with charred stubs. While those who mistakenly thought that the armor would be weak because it lacked support found out that it is supported by a force as strong as any flesh.
The armor is burning to the touch said to be heated by fiery wrath of those wronged without retribution. Only the holiest of crusaders have been rumored to touch the Armor of Justice and not be harmed. It is also said that to the purest he bestows upon them a mark. A scale burned over their heart as a reminder of the never ceasing pursuit of justice.

Personality: More spartan than the Spartans, Iudicantis is wrath personified. He does not feel anything. The concepts of joy and friendship are as alien to him as pain and sorrow. He knows only what he was created to know. Right and wrong, just and unjust, victim and criminal these are the words that form the foundation of his world. There is only black and white. Gray does not exist. He does one thing and one thing only, hunts those who have committed a wrong and fled from punishment. Even in completing his duty he feels no satisfaction. Instead he simply sets off to bring another to justice. His duty is never ending.
Those affixed in Justice’s gaze, meaning those who look into the depths of his empty helmet, feel, rightly so one might add, as if they’re being judged. This is because though lacking corporeal eyes Iudicantis sees better then most. He, when his gaze is affixed upon someone he hasn’t met before, peers into their soul and cycles through their life weighing the good and the bad. Then reaches and proclaims judgment either just or unjust, the latter is summarily destroyed and the former is passed as unimportant. He was not created to converse with the just but simply to destroy the unjust. This is why it chose the name Iudicantis.
In battle Iudicantis is terrible to behold. He is not cunning or calculating instead he is a force of raw strength and power. He is wrath.
Character Powers:
Class: Avatar of Justice
Weaponry and all related categories: The Avatar of Justice is a frightening enemy without the need for any external weaponry.
Magical Techniques:
Arbitrator’s touch: When Iudicantis lays a gauntleted hand upon a living creature it is judged. The just are left feeling empowered, their spirits bolstered by righteous fires. The unjust are said to be reduced to cinder, burned by his wrath.
Dies Irae: Deep within the pristine armor of Iudicantis is ball of golden flames called “Irae”, wrath. It is his one great weapon.
Subsection analysis: Irae: This is the name given to the physical embodiment of the anger of a horde of victims. Those who pray for retribution feed this ball of golden flames at the heart of the Armor of Justice. It is this inexhaustible amount of energy that serves as Justice’s only weapon and is rumored to be his true form.
“Dies Irae” or “Days of Wrath” is the name given to all of Iudicantis’ “techniques” that involve the “Irae”. His duty-focused mind can wield the “Irae” in a variety of awesomely destructive ways.
Physical Techniques:
Although his physical body is in essence just a walking suit of armor, he doesn’t move as if it were just that. Iudicantis moves with the resolved predatory grace of any trained warrior. It should also be noted that on the rare documented cases of someone surviving a battle with Iudicantis they have noted that when wounded his armor bleeds golden blood as if it were flesh.
Most physical fires pale in comparison to the heat of the “Irae” and thus Iudicantis is resilient against most earthly flames.
Res Judicata: The Armor of Justice is a weapon itself capable of separating at its joints. Once separated each section, as large as an arm or as tiny as a pinky finger, is powered by the “Irae” and comes with some deadly secret trick.
Elemental Strength: Emotions and Fire
Elemental Weaknesses: Earth and Wind

Character Story:
Iudicantis was created like all his “brothers” from the whims of the god Abobwyn. Created to fill a specific niche in Abobwyn’s grand plan of life the Avatar of Justice set off after his creation to hunt those who escaped retribution. Wielding the “Irae” with an iron fist he left only ashes in his passing. Over the eons his name became revered by crusaders, paladins, and other champions of justice while the unsavory spit it as a curse.
For countless ages Iudicantis existed as justice. Nothing escaped his ever watching eye. Retribution was always served. He was blind to age, race, and creed instead looking deep within souls for the history of ones life. But no matter how many he brought down always one remained. One grinding thorn in his side which left a great river of victims in its wake, it called itself Adsurgo and it was Sorrow. It was his “brother” which proved to be Iudicantis greatest annoyance. It did its job spreading Sorrow by any means necessary, meaning murder, thievery, and betrayal. But Iudicantis was denied his duty of bringing it to justice by the will of Abobwyn.
He did not bide his time but instead went about his duty but all the while he kept a tally. In his head he marked down every victim and every moment that his “brother” eluded justice. He continued this process until the day his “brother” incurred Abobwyn’s wrath and was exiled.
Without hesitation Iudicantis followed his “brother” into exile determined to fulfill his charge. Iudicantis now stalks his “brother” across the earth never tiring in his pursuit of justice though he has been known to veer from his path to doll out due retribution. He always returns to his one task, bringing Justice to Sorrow.
Fighting Style: True.

Not bad bro, but your magic seems a bit far fetched, even for you. Keep
in mind, even though we got rid of affinities, it doesn't mean we all
can have strong physical attackers with magic at hand. As long as we
limit your magic a bit more, you'll be fine. I was thinking you could
limit all the effects you have there to a ten-foot radius around
Earendel. If you did that, then it's fine. When you finish, send
everything to X so he can archive it.

Fyndra-
While I'm not fond of using someone else's pre-existing character (whether it has a form or not), everything seems fine to me.

Eh, I'm not usually one for borrowing ideas its just that I could use a
character I made up that has no real history with the organization and
no real solid reason to join. Or I could build off of someone else's
already interesting idea and make a character with some connection to
the organization. I figured I try the later for a change since I work
with my own creations in the Dojang. I can use this place to experiment
with working within the confines of someone else's creation.

Cupcakes, you fool, how many times must I explain?
This is a faction, not an RPG, so you can join at any time.
And stop saying "fo sho", you sound illiterate. -_-
